This was about simultaneously supporting handmade, independent businesses/crafters/designers/artists
and rounding up money for animal rescue organizations. We collected handmade/individually-created
items and put them up for sale here. The proceeds were then donated to animal rescue
groups.
We are not collecting donations at this time.

Pregnant Mare Rescue said: “Thank you for choosing us. It helps the horses so much. They are such wonderful animals. They are the furthest thing from throw-aways. And the babies should be given the chance at life. Thank you so much.”
Rocket Dog Rescue said: “Thank you so much for your generous donation to Rocket Dog Rescue. It was so incredible to receive this gift for our rescued dogs. Often, our dogs need medical treatment before they can be adopted. Your support has helped us defray some of the costs and be able to rescue more dogs. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and for Crafters for Critters.”
Greyhound Adoption of Florida said: “A huge thank you for your generosity and kindness. Each dollar helps us to give a future to yet another greyhound. Blessings to all involved!”
Operation Scooby said: “WOW! That donation is simply awesome! It’s the largest Operation Scooby has ever received! Thank you so much for selecting us as your recipient! The galgos of Scooby are the real benefactors, of course, and all donated money goes to help them. Many many thanks!”
Animal Protection and Rescue League said: “We just received your generous check! You are amazing! This will help us a great deal in establishing our rescued farmed animal sanctuary and education center! We are in the process of buying the land right now, so the donation could not have come at a more useful time!!!”
Best Friends said: “What a great idea -- crafters for critters! Thank you so much for your creative and artistic way to raise funds for the animals! Thank you again for helping the animals and for selecting Best Friends.”
SOS Galgos said: “Thank you so much for the check that arrived today. We are so grateful to you and Crafters for Critters. Please thank everyone on your team on our behalf too. All this rescue work is so painful, it’s thanks to people like yourselves so far away but so supportive, that we can go on.”
Other than myself (Melissa), there are few others that helped out with CFC.
My mom Jodi shipped out all the orders.
Kerri drew the cute CFC logo dog.
And Ryan built the CFC database that keeps everything manageable and running smoothly!
